Virus protection help?

hey i need some help when i restarted my computer instead of my desktop coming up a black screen pops up saying

"your computer is in danger

windows security center has detected spyware/ adware infection

its is strongly recommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss"

does anybody now any really good programs to fix this

never seen that before in my life.

its impossible for that to happen its probably an adware showing that screen.

but look restart your computer in safe mode (F8 while booting) and then restore your system.

Great Question and thank you for particpating in Yahoo's Q %26 A. It's obvious that you have aquired a virus which has attatched itself to your MBR (Master Boot Records) so that every time your restart the machine..it automatically starts the virus working as well. You can purchase an Antivirus program such as Norton Symantec or McAfee and you'll find that each will give you the ability to make a "Startup" disk just because of issues of this nature. You'll then be able to put the new Startup disk in the machine and turn the computer on. It will automatically boot to that disk instead of Windows. You can then have it to scan the computer and rid it of the problems and will then be instructed to remove the disk and restart the computer normally. Hope you find this to be helpful. Larry. I recommend googling Smitfraud fix, XP Smoker Pro, Registry Clean expert and Trojan Hunter. I had similiar problems and used those programs to correct them. Good luck.
