How can i remove after effect of worm vb.asd?????

i found vb.asd worm in my laptop.i found it by avg antivirus,but it was unable to remove it.then i installed avg antispyware,which removed the virus,but my laptop bacame very slow,and task manager is blocked by administrator.....how can i resolve these problem......or do i need to format it ultimately.......?????

AVG AV is a poor AV misses more than it find %26 when it does find a virus sometimes only partly removes it.

First turn off system restore.

Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm,trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com
hello, if you can go on the internet go to windows live one care safety scanner. It is free and will find your virus and delete it. also it will check for open ports for security problems to pass through and a performance check.
