How to remove unwanted icon from systerm tray?

I have an unsolicited icon in my system tray which brings up the web page http://antivermins.com/?aff=321 whether I right click or left click. The icon is constantly flashing the help symbol (?) and the stop symbol. I have McAfee and AOL and Spybot antispyware but these didnt help. I will be grateful for any assistance

Believe it or not from what I know about programs like that that take over your system tray it is only there to make you buy their product to remove a problem that they cause. There is a way to remove the program for free. Here is the link to the site http://www.antivermins-removal.com.remov...

Also try to stay away freeware and shareware with "bundled" software as it sometimes packages programs such as antivermins. You may also want to look into trying out Avast Home antivirus as so long as I have had it and kept it on I haven't had a problem yet.
Maybe you should run an anti-spy program and search for the Spyware, or do a virus scan, but things that you want of is go to Start--Run and type in msconfig and click the tab that says Startup and unselect the one you don't want...Good luck
In addition to the above advice, you might want to consider downloading Windows Defender by Microsoft. It's a free anti-spyware program by Microsoft. McAfee is mainly an anti-virus, so may not be as good at catching spyware activities.
