It's best as yet to use as anti virus a program from a company that has been traditionally an antirus producer and do the same for anti spyware. NOD32 have traditionally produced antivirus programs.

Good proper free anti spyware are spybot, ad aware, spyware exterminator but spyware doctor for the paid versions, i.e I wouldn't trust the NOD32 anti spyware facility or the Spyware doctor anti virus facility.

I wouldn't trust internet security suites from a single company that include anti virus, spyware and firewall all in one not even from Kaspersky which is among the best when it comes to anti virus programs.
Yes but it some times misses spyware you still need to use a antispyware program.
Good on you for using NOD32. It might well pick up some spyware, but it is still recommended to use a dedicated anti-spyware program, such as Spyware Terminator (http://www.spywareterminator.com/ )
